Rachel Murphy expressed his deep concern about the traumatizing experience that Toto (his five-pound dog) went through at the weekend. According to Rachel , a groomer allegedly taped Toto r's mouth shut after being bitten, resulting in the dog being bloody and distressed.
Rachel recounted, "My dog was clearly in distress. What I first thought was tape turned out not to be a muzzle. Toto r's feet were visible red and damaged, with toenails that were too close to paws. This likely triggered Toto r biting.
Wow! My Dog is a mobile pet salon that employed the groomer who was responsible for these actions.
Rachel immediately took Toto to the veterinarian for urgent medical attention. Having joined numerous other accusers of animal abuse, Rachel accused Puppy-Lux. San Mateo's Office has now launched an animal cruelty investigation into Wow! My Dog.
Rachel explained the injuries that he saw, saying, "I observed wounds around the neck and genital region." These cuts were so bad that they bled."
Marianna De las Vegas, customer of Wow! My Dog posted a Yelp review detailing the way his pets were returned unwell or injured. In addition to the damning Yelp reviews, Wow! My Dog wants customers to be aware of what the groomer told him, as someone they had entrusted with their pets' well-being. Rachel shared, "Juliann informed me that taping the mouth shut is a normal and acceptable method, claiming it is preferable to using a muzzle, which he believes can be harmful to dogs. He mentioned that he used the same method for his own dogs.
When contacted by Gate News, Wow! My Dog answered the phone but promptly handed it over to a woman who stated they were investigating the allegations. When asked about Puppy, she immediately said that it was an independent entity, before abruptly terminating the call.
